Recruitment Process

AIMT follows a structured recruitment process designed to provide students with excellent career opportunities and enable recruiters to evaluate candidates effectively.

1. Summer Internship Program

  • An 8-week full-time Summer Internship that allows recruiters to assess candidates over an extended period.
  • Internship duration ranges from a minimum of 8 weeks to a maximum of 10 weeks.
  • The scheduled timeline is from the second week of June to July.

2. Final Placements

AIMT conducts an annual on-campus placement process supervised by the Faculty Placement Coordinator and coordinated by the student-elected Placement Committee.

The placement process begins with Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs), usually held between October and December. This is followed by the Lateral Placement Process for students with prior work experience, and subsequently the Final Placement Process.

Interaction and Pre-Placement Talks

Organizations are formally invited to participate in the placement process. Recruiters visit the campus to deliver Pre-Placement Talks, which are interactive sessions covering:

  • Company profile and core values
  • Job descriptions and career growth plans
  • Selection procedures
  • Compensation and benefits

Companies are required to submit a Recruitment Form detailing job offerings during this phase.

Slotting

Companies are allocated day and time slots for their selection process based on slotting criteria such as company profile, job nature, long-term association, compensation, career growth opportunities, and student preferences.

Building Long-Term Relationships

AIMT believes in building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with organizations. Many recruiters engage with the institute beyond placements by conducting workshops, guest sessions, and acting as knowledge partners for student-driven activities.

Company Presentations (PPT)

Companies visit the campus to present corporate PPTs. Students expect the following insights:

  • Company profile and reputation
  • Job locations
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Compensation packages

Facilities Provided by the Institute

The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art communication, computing, and presentation facilities including:
